Partners INW homeless outreach team has had a busy and effective 6 months. Amanda Boyer, Partners INW Homeless Outreach Specialist and Deputy Joshua Pratt team up most weekdays to sweep the city and do outreach in Spokane Valley. They respond to concerned businesses, landlords and residents and connect the homeless to services and resources. Resources include housing referrals, food, clothing, hotel stays, bus passes, transportation, and stabilization assistance such as drug treatment and mental health interventions. In their first 6 months - they stabilized 27 individuals, secured permanent housing for 5 individuals, and provided 360 other services. Partners INW is proud to be part of a compassionate and effective strategy to help our homeless population.
