Emergency Utility Assistance & Support
Partners INW provides emergency utility assistance for individuals and families with no place left to turn. Through partnerships with Avista, Modern Electric, and Vera Water & Power, assistance may be available for qualifying Spokane Valley residents facing utility shutoffs or financial hardship.
Additional assistance may also be available for seniors with needs related to prescriptions, medical equipment, and other essential services.
Because funding levels and program availability can change throughout the year, assistance is not guaranteed and is subject to current resources.
How Emergency Assistance Works
Emergency Assistance is available by appointment only. During your appointment, our team will review your situation, discuss available programs, and determine whether assistance may be available.
Depending on current funding levels, Partners INW may be able to provide short-term assistance. If we are unable to help directly, referrals to other social service agencies and community organizations may be provided whenever possible.
