Helping Students Beyond The School Day
Bite2Go helps address childhood food insecurity by providing weekend meal support for students throughout Spokane County. Through partnerships with local schools, volunteers, and community supporters, the program helps ensure children have access to nutritious food when school meals are unavailable.
Program Impact:
Bite2Go currently helps provide weekend meals for more than 500 students each week.
What The Food Bank Provides
In Spokane County, many children live in households that experience food insecurity. This does not always mean there is no food available, but it can mean smaller portions, fewer nutritious options, or uncertainty about where the next meal will come from.
Bite2Go helps bridge that gap by providing weekend meals that support student well-being, academic success, and healthy development.
Partner Schools
Bite2Go works alongside local schools to help identify students who may benefit from weekend meal support. These partnerships allow the program to reach children where they are, helping ensure food assistance is distributed consistently, respectfully, and efficiently throughout the school year.
By working directly with educators and school staff, Partners INW is able to support hundreds of students each week while helping reduce barriers for families facing food insecurity.
